One postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Youwei Zhang at the Department of Pharmacology, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Dr. Zhang’s lab is interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms of cell cycle checkpoint and developing therapeutic strategies against human cancers. We are particularly interested in the S phase replication checkpoint (http://pharmacology.case.edu/department/Faculty/Primary/Labs/Zhang/Default.aspx)

The Department has a broad range of research areas from signaling transduction to protein structure. It provides an excellent environment to foster collaborations among laboratories working on different research areas.

Self-motivated individuals who have a recently completed PhD degree are encouraged to apply. Strong background in biochemistry and molecular and cellular biology is required.
