A postdoctoral fellowship is available in the laboratory of Dr. Geoffrey Swanson at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. The goal of the research is determine the role of galectins, a family of oligosaccharide-binding proteins, in central nervous system physiology and pathology.
