POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN PLATELETS SIGNALING
Immunology and Infectious diseases Unit (IID) and
Laboratory of thrombosis and Hemostasis (LTH)

A 3 years postdoctoral position will be available in the Immunology and Infectious Diseases Unit / Laboratory of thrombosis and hemostasis at GIGA-R (Starting July 01-2013)
Applicant will be invited to work on the role of the tyrosine phosphatase DUSP3/VHR in platelets biology. The project will involve working on mice models as well as human samples.
The candidate will join the IID and LTH laboratories at the GIGA-R located in Liège University hospital. The state-of-the-art facilities of GIGA-R include an operational BSL-3 and 5 BSL-2 facilities, an SFP transgenic animal facility, in-house core facilities for bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics and imaging.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and are expected to have a strong background in platelet biology and cell signaling, to be highly motivated, creative and capable of contributing productively in a team environment. Preference will be given to candidate with experience in animal models. The position is available for 3 years and can be renewed for an extra year.
