Postdoctoral position in Molecular Cardiology

A position is available for a project focusing on the mechanisms mediating cardiac protection. We are taking advantage of mouse pathophysiological models, genetically engineered mice, immunohistology, confocal microscopy, cell culture, and state-of-the-art molecular and cellular biology techniques to define the role of signaling and transcriptional complexes promoting cardioprotection.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a PhD or MD/PhD, and a strong expertise in molecular and cellular biology, as well as cardiac pathophysiology. Strong background on the molecular basis of cardiac diseases, excellent publication record, good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently are expected.
Competitive salary is available for two years with possibility of extension.
