A postdoctoral position is available for studying viral imprinting on the host immune system.
Gammaherpesviruses have co-evolved with their host. Until now, most of our knowledge is related on how these viruses escape the immune system recognition. In this project, we want to study how these persistent viruses shape the immune responses of their hosts.
The candidate should have a Ph.D. and advanced experience in immunology, virology or related field. A strong expertise on bioinformatics and analysis of next-generation sequencing data is a pre-requisite.
