A postdoctoral position in Visual Neuroscience and Electrophysiology is available at Yale University to study synaptic function and synaptic connectivity/circuitry, visual signal processing, and neural development in the mammalian retina using a combination of patch-clamp recording, two-photon imaging, optogenetics, and spot photolysis. A strong background in neuroscience and prior experience in neurophysiology are desirable.
