Job Description
The Immunopharmacology and Targeted Therapy (ITT) Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Michael Rosenblum has a new position currently open for a Ph.D. scientist interested in joining our laboratory focused on developing novel recombinant fusion proteins for targeted cancer therapeutics. The successful candidate must have demonstrated expertise in PCR gene construction, bacterial and mammalian cell protein expression and protein purification. A background in antibody development, structure and design would be a positive. In addition, this candidate must have some experience with examining the cytotoxic effects and signaling events of various targeted agents against various tumor cell lines. Experience with conducting therapy studies with in vivo animal tumor xenograft models will be required. Expertise with cytokines and cytokine networks would be helpful. Salary commensurate with experience.
