Postdoctoral position (Assegno di Ricerca) in Cognitive Neuroscience at University of Padova, Italy (PI: Antonino Vallesi)
Description
A postdoctoral position (funded by an European Research Council grant) will be available soon in our lab at the Department of Neuroscience, University of Padova, Italy. The topics of investigation will include executive functions, cognitive aging and hemispheric asymmetries. Previous experience with fMRI is required. Knowledge of EEG or simultaneous EEG-fMRI is also a plus. The ideal candidate should have good programming skills and preferably documented activity in the area of cognitive neuroscience. Given that part of the project will concern Italian neuropsychological patients, at least a basic knowledge of Italian, although not strictly necessary, is strongly recommended. The position will start early in 2014, but the exact starting date is negotiable. The duration will be initially 1 year but could be potentially extended up to 4 years. The salary will be proportional to the level of experience.
