Applications are invited for an NIH-funded post-doctoral position at the Center of Cardiothoracic Research at the University of Chicago. This position will work in conjunction with a team to study roles of Sirtuins and HDACs in regulating cellular signaling, growth, apoptosis and cardiac remodeling. Minimum qualifications include a PhD in the biological sciences or a related field; relevant research experience; a demonstrated record of effective verbal and written communication skills, including one-on-one and group communications with colleagues both inside and outside of the lab; and basic knowledge of cell-signaling and growth.
