A Postdoctoral position is available to research the role of the PTEN tumor suppressor and prostate cancer progression. The position is in a translational research lab, which utilizes novel mouse models, human clinical samples, and innovative stem cell assays to better understand mechanisms promoting castrate resistant prostate cancer (CRPC).
Current projects include:
a) Determining a molecular signature for metastatic prostate cancer.
b) Development of novel transplant models for human prostate.
c) Determining androgen receptor (AR) signaling dependency during progression to resistant disease.
d) Ascertaining mechanisms of resistance to anti-androgen therapy.
