Applications are invited for the above position, which is part of a research programme supported by Science Foundation Ireland. This programme focuses on the design, synthesis and biological evaluation of stable lipoxin analogues and related substituted tetrahydrofurans.
The post-holder will be responsible for the biological evaluation (anti-inflammatory, pro-resolution and fibrosuppressant activities) of the compounds prepared and participate in all aspects of the research programme, which is collaborative with chemistry researchers in UCD and other biological researchers inDCU
