法国居里研究所招聘细胞移行博士后
Postdoctoral position available
Cell migration and invasion
Cell Biology Department (UMR144)
Institut Curie, Paris, France
In the group of Dr. Danijela Matic Vignjevic
Curie Institute is a world-renowned cancer research center associated to a hospital specialized in fighting cancer. Our research department focuses on many aspects of cell biology of cancer. Specificaly, our team investigates fundamental mechanisms of normal cell migration in gut homeostasis and invasive migration of cancer cells using physiologically relevant 3D in vitro assays and in vivo model systems.
We are seeking excited and curious postdoctoral fellow to pursue basic questions related to the mechanism of epithelial cell migration in gut homeostasis. Intravital multiphoton microscopy will be used to study how cells move within a living tissue. By understating how cell migration is coupled with cell division and apoptosis in gut homeostasis, we will gain possibilities to study the consequences of perturbation of the major signaling pathways involved in intestinal tumorigenesis.
This position requires a PhD in cell and molecular biology or physics. Ideally, the candidate should have a background in cell biology with experience in imaging techniques. The position is funded by ERC for 1 year, renawable up to 3 years and is availabe from January 1st, 2013.
To apply, send curriculum vitae, motivation letter and the contact information for two past advisors to Danijela Vignjevic, e-mail : danijela.vignjevic@curie.fr
