Job Description

A postdoctoral fellow position is available to study molecular and cellular mechanisms of pain, synaptic transmission and plasticity, and cardiovascular control. Candidates should have solid graduate training in neuroscience and a strong publication record using patch-clamp electrophysiological recordings, epigenetics, and functional proteomics, and neuronal and synaptic imaging. Ongoing studies include epigenetic control of chronic pain, ion channel regulation in primary sensory neurons and spinal cord, protein-protein interactions pertinent to synaptic plasticity, and the hypothalamus involvement in hypertension development.
