Applications are invited for an ERC-funded post-doc position to work in the laboratory of Axel Behrens. The Behrens lab focuses on the biology of stem cells and cancer (http://www.london-research-institute.org.uk/research/75).
The selected applicant will study ATMIN-dependent ATM signaling, a novel non-canonical arm of the ATM signaling pathway (see Kanu and Behrens, EMBO J 20007; Kanu et al., JBC 2010; Loizou et al, Cancer Cell 2011).
The London Research Institute (LRI) conducts innovative basic biological research to improve our understanding of cancer. The LRI has made significant breakthroughs since its inception, and continues to be at the forefront of its field.
