General Description: The Center for Advanced Modeling in the Social, Behavioral, and Health Sciences (CAM) at Johns Hopkins University is offering renewable post-doctoral research positions. Center Director, Dr. Joshua M. Epstein, is Professor of Emergency Medicine with Joint Appointments in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Economics, Biostatistics, International Health, and Environmental Health Sciences, ensuring that the Center is truly University-wide. The Center invites applications from Agent-Based Computational Modelers, with strong quantitative skills. Particular interest in candidates combining agent modeling with GIS, Health, Cognitive Science, and Behavior Computational and Mathematical Modeling. Candidates should have a strong scholarly record for their career level, and a strong interest in multi-disciplinary research. While expertise in all fields is welcome, agent-based computational modeling figures prominently in CAM’s research agenda.
