A postdoctoral research fellow position is available in the Laboratory of Dr. Qiang Lu, in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. We study the mechanisms by which neural progenitor/stem cells control the balance between self-renewal and differentiation during brain development. The project will focus on characterizing the epigenomic marks and modulators that are involved in the regulation of cortical neural progenitor/stem cell state during neurogenesis. Motivated individuals with experience in molecular biology, developmental biology or neurobiology are welcome to apply. Individuals with experience in epigenomic study or bioinformatics are preferred.
