Postdoctoral Positions
Postdoctoral fellow positions are available to study molecular and cellular mechanisms of pain and synaptic transmission and plasticity. Candidates should have solid graduate training in neuroscience and a strong publication record using patch-clamp electrophysiological recordings, epigenetics, and functional proteomics, and neuronal and synaptic imaging. Ongoing studies include epigenetic control of chronic pain, ion channel regulation in primary sensory neurons and spinal cord, protein-protein interactions pertinent to synaptic plasticity, and the hypothalamus involvement in hypertension development.
