We are currently seeking a talented, highly motivated and energetic postdoctoral fellow with an expertise in cell and molecular biology. The project involves identifying regulatory transcription factors governing translation of a key protein in kidney, evaluating its ligands and understanding signal transduction mechanisms driven by the protein towards inflammation and/or regeneration. This involves hands on experience with in vitro and in vivo approaches at the interface of biochemistry, cell and molecular biology.

Candidate should have Ph.D. degree in biological or biomedical sciences and strong background in cellular and molecular biology. The requested techniques and skills include: 1) cell culture, Western Blotting, ELISA, electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA), vector construction and transfection, luciferase assay, qRT-PCR, RNAi technology, IP and CHIP, etc 2) knowledge of molecular data analysis and interpretation, and simple statistical analysis; 3) skillful English writing ability with first author publications in peer reviewed Pub Med cited journals; 4) research experience in epithelial or vascular biology or regeneration is preferable.
