Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship in theoretical particle physics tenable for two years from 1 October 2012. We seek scientists with strong research records in lattice QCD, flavour physics, or other particle physics in and beyond the Standard Model.

You will contribute to our programme in lattice QCD, including kaon physics, heavy flavour physics, and non perturbative BSM physics.  The Group has recently completed a unique joint development project with IBM Research and Columbia University developing the next generation prototype BlueGene/Q Supercomputer and will install a 4096 node, 65536 core 840Tflop/s system in December 2011, as part of STFC's DiRAC facility, and this will provide the primary computing resources for the Group over the duration of this position.
