Post doctoral positions open for highly motivated and skilled individuals in the laboratory of signal transduction. Using mice and zebra fish as model organisms, we work on several aspects of inflammation and its link to aging, cancer and metabolism. Our efforts are supported by strong collaborations with other researchers across disciplines including clinicians. Using genome wide screening approaches, we have identified several novel regulators of inflammation. Selected candidates would be involved in analyzing these molecules using various biochemical and genetic tools. Candidates must posses a good publication record, very strong training in Molecular Biology, Genetics and Biochemistry and must be trained in working with small animals, mainly mice. Selected candidates would be invited for an interview, with all expenses paid. The start-up packages are very attractive and can match or better any start up package around the world. Singapore is cosmopolitan city with wonderful opportunities to live work and play in. Its proximity to great tourist destinations is a added attraction.
