STI Innsbruck is one of the world’s leading players in the area of semantic technologies with excellent ties to other relevant public and corporate research institutions worldwide. Seekda is an innovative SME that facilitates the on-demand usage of services over the Web. It simplifies purchases across different providers and unifies the usage of services in bundles specialized for vertical services, especially e-Toursim.
Description

Seekda: - The innovative environment of a dynamic company oriented towards incorporating research results in its products and services. - The opportunity to solve real world challenges in domains such as e-Tourism. - Long-term collaboration with academia and other industrial partners. We seek: Individuals who are willing to continue their existing field of research and contirbute to innovative products and services for the e-Tourism domain, based on semantic and linked data technologies. We expect: - An excellent PhD degree, or equivalent academic degree, in Computer Science or related disciplines. - Research interest and expertise in at least one of the following areas: semantic technologies, linked data, e-Tourism. - The willingness to combine formal scientific work with application-oriented research in projects funded by the European Commission. - The willingness to assume management and supervision responsibilities for up to 6 junior researchers.
