A Postdoctoral Contract for a Bioinformatitian is offered in the group of Dr. Esteban Ballestar within the Cancer Epigenetics and Biology Program (PEBC) at the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBELL) in Barcelona.
Description
The successful candidate should be expert in bioinformatics analysis. Specifically, experience in analysis highthroughput genomics and epigenomics data is required. Research in the laboratory focuses in epigenetic deregulation mechanisms in the immune system, particularly in the context of autoimmune disease and different differentiation models relevant to immune‐related disease. RESPONSIBILITIES - Participate in various projects in the laboratory where bioinformatic analysis of highthroughput DNA methylation data, ChIP‐on‐chip and ChIP‐seq data and microRNA analysis is needed. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS - PhD degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics or Informatics (or related). - Experience in bioinformatic analysis of high‐throughput DNA methylation, ChIP‐onchip and ChIP‐seq data. - Advanced English Level. CONDITIONS - Full time contract for a 2 year period. - Starting date: Immediate. - Applications must include curriculum vitae with a cover letter and contacts for 2 references.
