We invite applications for a postdoctoral fellowship (2 years, renewable) to join an internationally recognized research team at the University of Nice, France. The remit of our group is to unravel the molecular programs driving organ development and maintenance and study their links with cancer. We have recently generated several novel animal models carrying loss- and gain-of function mutations for key regulators of development. The successful candidate will use these mouse models to study the precise molecular function of the modified genes, their interaction with signalling pathways (b-catenin, Shh) and their potential role in stem cell activation during normal organ maintenance. The successful candidate will have a solid background in molecular biology and developmental biology. Experience in mouse genetics is a plus.
