Applications are sought for one Postdoctoral Research Fellow to work on a TSB-funded (Technology Strategy Board) research project in collaboration with research partners from the industry and other institutions. The project is funded by the TSB High Value Manufacturing program.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in manufacturing engineering and a minimum one year industrial research experience on CNC data acquisition system for metal cutting mechanics and smart tooling design and analysis, and precision manufacturing. A strong background in precision machining, FEA-based design and analysis, industrial tooling design and manufacturing, and CNC programming is desirable.
