Postdoctoral Research Assistant
Reading School of Pharmacy (SCFP)
This appointment is full-time, fixed-term for four years Grade 6 – £27,428 to £29,972 per annum
We are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Assistant, to a four year fixed-term post to work on various research projects in Pharmaceutics.
The successful applicant will be responsible for enhancing research facilities using in-vitro permeation studies with human skin and stem cell-based tissue constructs and will additionally research into the development and use of micro- and nano-particulates for drug delivery.
You will have:
• an ability to think critically; good presentation skills (written and oral)
• an ability to manage own workload
• a PhD in a relevant area
• evidence of peer reviewed publications
• a good understanding of drug delivery science
• relevant laboratory experience and good laboratory practice
