Job Description
| Post-doctoral Research Position A position is available immediately at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. The position involves basic research in the areas of vascular development and tumor-induced angiogenesis in the mammalian brain. The post-doc will receive training in the use of mouse models and in vitro culture systems to study cell adhesion and signaling at the neurovascular unit and blood-brain barrier under physiological and malignant settings. Experience in biochemistry and molecular biology, mouse molecular genetics, and cell adhesion and signaling is preferred, but not necessary. Applicants must have at least one first author publication in a internationally recognized peer-reviewed journal. The Department of Cancer Biology at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center is located in a vibrant research atmosphere of the Houston Texas Medical Center, which includes Baylor College of Medicine, The University of Texas Medical School, and Rice University.
