We are seeking an experienced bio-informatician for an funded research project on comparative transcriptomics in malaria parasites. The suitable candidate needs to have extensive experience in the analysis of large datasets that are typically generated during microarray analysis and should be able to manage the computer infrastructure for processing, storage and analyses of large scale genomic data. The candidate has to be able develop customized set of algorithms specific for the project. The candidate is expected to posses both good leadership characteristics essential for the computer infrastructure management but also must be a good team player and work along the other research scientist to drive forward the project.

The candidate should have a PhD in Bioinformatics or related topic and have a good understanding of biological in addition good programming and other computational skills in data management are required. A highly competitive salary will be considered for candidates with extensive experience and expertise.
