Postdoctoral positions in HIV translational research in Cell and Molecular Biology at Northwestern University.

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Thomas Hope in the Dept. of Cell and Molecular Biology, Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University. The successful applicant should have a strong background in molecular/cellular biology and/or histology, and/or biophysics. Experience with fluorescent microscopy preferred. The laboratory uses techniques of cell biology and biophysics to study mechanisms of HIV sexual transmission and pathogenesis. These studies are translatable into vaccine and microbicide evaluation and development. The position is for 1-2 years. This position is not eligible for visa employment sponsorship.
