Job Description
Michael Galko’s Lab in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center seeks Ph. D. neurobiologist/geneticist to investigate the molecular/genetic basis of tissue damage-induced nociceptive sensitization in Drosophila larvae following on from the work of Babcock et al., Current Biology 2009. A strong work ethic and past record of peer reviewed publications, and extensive experience with Drosophila genetics and developmental neurobiology assays is required.
