Theorist Specializing in the Physics of OPV Materials – Kent Campus – Kent, OH
We seek a theoretical physicist who will work closely with experimentalists both within and outside his/her discipline. Applicants should have expertise in the physics of organic electronic materials, such as charge transport and photogeneration. Materials of current interest include organic crystals, liquid crystals, and glasses based on small-molecule organic semiconductors. Experience with modern quantum computational and analytical techniques is essential. Experimentalist Specializing in the Chemistry of OPV Materials – Kent Campus – Kent, OH
The successful candidate in Chemistry must have demonstrated relevant knowledge and experimental expertise in organic, physical-organic or physical chemistry. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to function in a highly collaborative mode. We are interested in individuals skilled in the molecular engineering and characterization of organic electronic materials and especially photovoltaic materials. Successful candidates are expected to develop an externally funded collaborative research program and to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
