Job Description
Geron Corporation, a world leader in pioneering cancer research, is seeking a highly motivated and talented researcher to join the Oncology Research team working on cancer stem cells as a Post-doctoral scientist. The position entails the study of cell signaling pathways in in-vitro and in-vivo cancer models. The postdoctoral scientist is expected to contribute toward publication of high impact scientific reports in peer reviewed journals

Qualifications:

- A Ph.D. is required and additional postdoctoral research experience is a plus
- Strong experience with cell culture, transfections, Western blotting, Realtime PCR techniques and flowcytometry is essential
- Strong background in signaling pathway analysis
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and have the ability to work well in team settings
