Postdoctoral Positions are available in Cell Signaling and Membrane Biology group at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. Research projects heavily emphasize quantitative use of innovative fluorescence and electron microscopy approaches. Laboratory has state-of-the-art equipment for live cell imaging, single particle tracking, FRET/FRAP, TIRF and ratio imaging. New capabilities in hyperspectral and super-resolution imaging are under development. The laboratory is located on UNM Medical School campus in scenic New Mexico, USA -- a state famous for beautiful blue skies and mild weather. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy skiing and hiking. Positions are available beginning in the fall of 2011.

Qualification
Ideal candidates will have a biophysics or bioimaging background and an interest in signal transduction, cell membranes and/or lipid biology. Experience in biochemical and molecular biology techniques is also helpful, as is an interest in Systems Biology.
