Job Description
One or two positions are available to develop innovative therapeutics and to understand the underlying mechanism. The available projects include the following. Project One: study how the genetic mutation of a transporter gene causes IL12-induced toxicity. Project two: use sonoporation (ultrasound novo5500) for delivering tumor targeted gene and analyze the efficacy and toxicity towarding IND filing (background with pathology and understanding GLP operation are preferred). Project three: analyze why wsx1 (IL27 receptor) is overexpressed in certain type of tumor cells and how the upregulation is induced. Project four: targeted gene therapy against brain tumors (requiring experience in brain glioma generation). Each postdoc will be assigned two projects, one for your own career and one for the laboratory. Experience in animal handling is essential and experience with brain tumors will be preferred. Also prefer new fellows who are looking for their first postdoc positions. For oversea applications, only J1 visa is offered.
