Job Description
A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Center for Cancer Epigenetics at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer at Houston. The overall research interest of the lab is to understand the epigenetic regulation of gene expression in pathogenesis of cancers and other genetic diseases. Particularly, we are interested in the dynamic regulation of histone lysine methylation by histone methyltransferases and histone demethylases, and transduction of lysine methylation signals by effector proteins. This position is to look into the epigenetic landscapes and molecular mechanisms of lysine methylation in human breast cancer and mouse embryonic stem cells.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Biology/Biochemistry/Mol & Cell Biology, a strong work ethic, extensive experience with molecular biology and biochemical techniques and good communication skills. Candidates with experience in stem cell biology, breast cancer and/or chromatin-related molecular biology are preferred.
