A postdoctoral fellowship opportunity is available in the laboratory of Dr. Qiang Lu. This position will be involved in the study of the mechanisms that control neural progenitor/stem cell symmetric vs. asymmetric cell division during brain development. On-going projects are focused on identifying factors in cortical neural progenitor cells that specify symmetric vs. asymmetric cell division, as well as characterizing the epigenomic regulation in the control of neural progenitor/stem cell state during neurogenesis. Requires completed Ph.D.
