Postdoctoral Research Scientist
The Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, Division of Structural Biology
Headington, Oxford
Grade 7: £29,099 – £35,788, with a discretionary range to £39,107 p.a.

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join the Gilbert Research Group where you will make a significant contribution towards the groups programme in the structural analysis of recoding and initiation events and DNA array-based data collection.

You will have a PhD in Biophysical Chemistry and experience in structural analysis of macromolecular complexes, with a background in either cryo-EM and image analysis, or the computational interpretation of cryo-EM data/maps. You will have a strong publication record and be able to demonstrate you ability to manage the day-to-day running of a research project.

The position is funded by BBSRC and is fixed term for up to 2 years in the first instance.
