Job Description
The Committee on Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics at the University Chicago is seeking a skilled and motivated researcher for our Postdoctoral Fellowship Training Program. This two-year American Board of Clinical Pharmacology accredited program is a multidisciplinary, comprehensive and collaborative initiative that emphasizes individual creativity in the context of an encouraging environment. Applicants must be interested in personalized medicine, new drug development and being trained in classical clinical pharmacology methods. Under mentorship, trainees will spend a minimum of 80% of protected research time with the remainder dedicated to a core curriculum. Trainees will be able to choose from many areas of research including anticancer agents, anesthetics, asthma, immunomodulators, oncology and vascular pharmacology. After successful completion, trainees will be eligible to become board certified in Clinical Pharmacology.
