Job Description
Research position is available to study the roles of neuropeptides and neuromodulators in synaptic function and neurological diseases with interdisciplinary approaches (see representative publications: Deng et al., Neuron 63:230-243, 2009; Deng et al., Journal of Neuroscience 30:5136-5148, 2010). Applicants should have general background with strong publications in neuroscience, physiology, molecular biology, signal transduction and/or ion channel physiology. Applicants should have strong expertise in at least one of the following areas: electrophysiology, molecular biology, immunocytochemistry, in vivo physiology or behavioral sciences. Salary will commensurate with experience.
