Job Description
A Postdoctoral Position is Available to work on Kaposi’s sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV)-induced angiogenesis and inflammation. The qualified person will be involved in studies to examine how KSHV infection of endothelial cells induces rapid release of cytokines to promote angiogenesis and infiltration of inflammatory cells. The qualified candidate must be trained in microbiology and immunology and have good command of molecular biology techniques, including but not limited to RT-PCR, transfections, cloning, RNA interference, cell culture, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Additional experience in cancer research involving mouse studies is desired.
