A postdoctoral fellow position is available immediately in Dr. Victor Yu’s laboratory at National University of Singapore (NUS). The prime focus of the laboratory is to study the key signaling mechanisms operating in mitochondria responsible for regulating the cell death decisions in mammalian cells.

To facilitate a better understanding of the work being pursued in the laboratory, prospective applicants are urged to refer to the following recent papers published by the laboratory: (1). K.O. Requirements:
Successful applicants are expected to have a strong background in molecular biology and biochemistry. Applicants with outstanding background in using in vivo (mouse) and/or in vitro systems for studying physiological process (e.g. cell death, cancer, neuro-degeneration, inflammation or ageing) regulated by mitochondria are invited to apply. Successful applicant should have a Ph.D. degree awarded by an internationally recognized institution within the last three years and should have a record of productivity supported by a record of publications in recognized peer-reviewed international journals.
