Job Description
The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, Cancer Center (http://Cancer.TTUHSC.edu) is accepting applications for postdoctoral fellowships in cancer developmental therapeutics. The Cancer Center has active cancer drug development research funded by grants from NIH, Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT), Department of Defense, and private foundations. We seek highly motivated MD’s, PhD’s, or PharmD’s with outstanding training in molecular pharmacology or clinical pharmacology that are interested in carrying out research to develop novel anti-cancer drugs in the laboratory and in clinical trials for adult and pediatric cancers. The Cancer Center provides outstanding opportunities for training in translational cancer research, including clinical trials, clinical and molecular pharmacology, and development and implementation of novel cancer preclinical drug testing models. Principal investigators currently seeking postdoctoral fellows are:

CP Reynolds, MD PhD. A postdoctoral fellow is sought to study molecular mechanisms of resistance to the cytotoxic retinoid fenretinide. Candidates with outstanding molecular biology experience, and ideally knowledge and experience in analyzing and manipulating sphingolipids.
