Li Ka Shing Institute of Health Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong  

Position Postdoctoral Fellow          reference number: 13/242(737)/3 

Applicants should have  

(i) a PhD degree with strong background in Molecular Biology;  

(ii) experience in next generation sequencing platforms, current analytical platforms, associated informatics and computational skills;  

(iii) good publication record in international peer-reviewed journals;  

(iv) the ability to work independently and in a co-operative team environment. 

The appointee will work for Professor Lan Hui Yao at the Laboratory of Inflammatory Diseases. The research will focus on microRNA, long non-coding RNA and TGF-beta/Smad signaling in inflammatory and fibrotic diseases, and tumor microenvironments.  

Appointment will be made on contract basis for two years commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
