We are seeking an enthusiastic post-doc to work on a Zika vaccine project to join the Centre for Global Vaccine Research (CGVR) which is based in the Department of Clinical Infections, Microbiology and Immunology with the Institute of Infection and Global Health.

You will be conducting cellular immunology studies to establish assays for a first-in-human (phase I) clinical trial, and in other relevant studies such as contributing to vaccine vector design/generation.

You should have a 1st or 2:1 class degree and PhD (or equivalent) in the relevant subject. Practical experience of cell culture, including freezing, thawing PMBC isolation and recombinant viral vector constructs is desired. In addition, experience with GCP and HTA practices are also preferred.
